What license do I get when I buy a dataset?

Every dataset is available under four license tiers: personal, commercial, agency, and enterprise. Personal licenses cover individual, non-resale use. Commercial covers use inside your own business. Agency covers use across client work. Enterprise covers organization-wide deployment and API access. The license tier is selected at checkout and shown on every dataset product page.

What file formats are included with each dataset?

Every dataset pack ships with a CSV export, a JSON export, an XLSX workbook, and a PDF overview describing the fields and methodology. If your workflow needs a different format, mention it when requesting a custom dataset and we will scope it.

How long does a custom dataset request take?

Turnaround depends on scope and sourcing complexity. A straightforward extraction or cleanup of data you already have typically takes one to two weeks. New collection, labeling, or enrichment work runs longer. Submit a request through the custom dataset services page and you will get a scoped timeline before any work starts.

How often are datasets updated?

Update frequency is listed on every dataset product page and ranges from one-time to monthly, depending on how fast the underlying data changes. Dataset Maker Pro subscribers get priority access to refreshed releases as soon as they are published.

Do you offer refunds on dataset purchases?

Because datasets are delivered as digital files that can be copied immediately, we do not offer refunds once a download link has been issued. If a dataset does not match its published field list or description, contact us and we will correct it or issue credit toward another dataset.

Is API access available?

API access is on the roadmap and offered early to Dataset Maker Pro and enterprise license holders first. Request early access through the API access page and we will reach out as it rolls out to your dataset categories.

Where does the data in your datasets come from?

Sources are documented per dataset and include first-party research, licensed public data, and structured extraction from sites and sources we control. We do not include personally identifiable information in standard dataset packs, and we note sourcing and last-verified dates on every product page.

Do you offer bulk or agency pricing?

Yes. Agency and enterprise license tiers include multi-dataset bundles and volume pricing. Contact us with the categories and number of datasets you need and we will put together a package quote.
